We are excited to welcome Dr Elizabeth Edgar to the Aura Family Doctors team. Originally trained in the UK at the University of Nottingham, Dr Edgar gained her medical degree in 2010 and completed her early hospital training across the UK and New Zealand. She achieved Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2018 and before moving to Aura, has since been delivering full-spectrum general practice care in Auckland.

Dr Edgar brings over 10 years of hands-on experience in managing acute and chronic conditions, preventive health, paediatrics, women’s health, and mental health. She is particularly passionate about providing personalised care that supports long-term wellness with skills developed through years of consistent, high-quality general practice in busy urban clinics.

What truly drives Dr Edgar is her commitment to continuity of care and holistic family medicine.  She values patient education, empowers individuals in their healthcare decisions, and looks forward to bringing her warm, patient-focused approach to the Aura community.
